Job Description

Join our sales team as a Sales Development Representative and become the first point of contact for businesses discovering the power of Okinawa's automation platform. In this role, you'll play a critical part in our growth engine by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers who can benefit from our solution.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who wants to learn from a experienced team, develop foundational skills in B2B SaaS sales, and grow into a full-cycle Account Executive role. You'll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and clear career progression from day one.

The ideal candidate is hungry, curious, and resilient. You love talking to people, aren't afraid of rejection, and get energized by the hunt. You're a quick learner who can understand technical products and communicate their value in simple, compelling terms.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role — B2B SaaS experience is a plus but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages and hold engaging conversations with prospects
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in previous roles
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and resilient in the face of rejection — you see 'no' as a stepping stone to 'yes'
  • Basic understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Intellectual curiosity about technology and the ability to quickly learn and communicate technical product features
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required — we value drive and potential

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential customers through outbound prospecting using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and other tools, building targeted lists of accounts that match our ideal customer profile
  • Conduct high-volume outreach via personalized emails, phone calls, LinkedIn messages, and social selling to generate interest and book qualified meetings for the Account Executive team
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, website forms, and events by conducting discovery calls to understand their pain points, budget, timeline, and decision-making process
  • Schedule and coordinate product demos between qualified prospects and Account Executives, ensuring smooth handoffs with complete context on the prospect's needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions in Salesforce, contributing to pipeline forecasting and reporting
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality, campaign effectiveness, and messaging resonance
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and Okinawa product updates to effectively communicate our value proposition
  • Participate in daily team standups, weekly pipeline reviews, and ongoing sales training programs to continuously improve your skills
