Product Manager
Define the future of automation products
Job Description
Join our product team to help define the future of automation at Okinawa. We're looking for a Product Manager who can bridge the gap between deep technical implementation and real user needs — someone who can translate complex capabilities into simple, powerful product experiences that delight our customers.
In this role, you'll own a core product area end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap through execution and iteration. You'll work at the intersection of engineering, design, marketing, and sales, ensuring that every feature we ship solves a real problem and moves the business forward. This is a high-impact role with significant visibility across the organization.
The ideal candidate has a technical background and experience shipping B2B SaaS products at scale. You're comfortable diving into technical discussions with engineers one moment and presenting product strategy to executives the next. You think in terms of outcomes, not outputs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or enterprise software
- Proven track record of shipping features that measurably improved user engagement, retention, or revenue
- Strong technical aptitude — ability to understand complex systems, API architectures, and discuss tradeoffs with engineers
- Experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar) and A/B testing methodologies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for different audiences
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools like Jira, Linear, or Asana
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required
- Familiarity with the automation, iPaaS, or workflow orchestration market is a strong plus
Benefits
- Competitive base salary of $130k - $160k with annual performance bonus of up to 15%
- Equity options with a 4-year vesting schedule and 1-year cliff
- Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance
- Flexible hybrid work schedule — 2-3 days in our San Francisco office with remote days as needed
- $3,000 annual professional development budget for conferences, certifications, and courses
- 16 weeks parental leave for all parents, regardless of caregiver status
- Monthly commuter stipend and fully stocked kitchen in our SOMA office
- Unlimited PTO with a 3-week minimum encouraged
- 401(k) with 4% company match, vested immediately
- Company-sponsored team events, offsites, and annual retreats
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product roadmap for your area, aligning feature prioritization with company strategy, customer feedback, and market analysis to ensure maximum impact
- Conduct ongoing user research through interviews, surveys, and usage analytics to deeply understand customer pain points and identify opportunities for product innovation
- Write detailed product specifications and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, working closely with engineering and design to ensure shared understanding before development begins
- Coordinate cross-functional teams through the entire product development lifecycle, from discovery through launch, ensuring alignment across engineering, design, marketing, and sales
- Analyze product metrics and KPIs post-launch to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and inform future roadmap decisions with data-driven insights
- Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and ensure Okinawa maintains its competitive edge in the automation market
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and roadmap review meetings with stakeholders across the organization
- Act as the primary point of contact for your product area, communicating status, risks, and decisions to leadership and cross-functional partners
